La serie Shetland , una produzione della  BBC1 in collaborazione con BBC Scotland,  ha iniziato le riprese per la sua terza stagione.

 Nel cast troviamo  Ciaran Hinds (Game of Thrones, Roma), Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife, The Fall), Anna Chancellor (The Hour, Mapp & Lucia), James Cosmo (Case Histories), Saskia Reeves (Wolf Hall, Luther), Sara Vickers (Endeavour), Jack Greenlees (Stonemouth), Jamie Michie (Game Of Thrones), Mark Cox, Kate Donnelly e Andrew Rothney (Outlander).

Le riprese si chiuderanno durante il periodo della stagione estiva.
