ITV’s much anticipated dramatization of the children’s book Just Henry will air on the network on 18 December at 7.00 p.m. The drama is part of ITV’s Christmas line up and critics will be closely watching to see how the show shape’s up in terms of ratings when compared with the BBC’s own adaptation of The Borrowers.
Just Henry is set in post-World War II Britain and Josh Bolt takes on the title role of Henry – a boy who is struggling to come to terms with his father’s death and his mother’s remarriage. Henry begins to become obsessed with investigating the circumstances of his father’s death but things take an unexpected turn when a man meets Henry at his father’s graveside and claims to be his Dad.
